Eileen Sailer

Eileen Marie Alber was born June 2, 1936, at Litchville, North Dakota, the daughter of Emil and Adelia (Kolb) Alber. She was baptized and confirmed at Griswold Lutheran Church. She attended Griswold School. She was united in marriage to Donald A. Sailer on June 12, 1955 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Marion. Eileen worked at Trapp’s Hardware in Marion and as a teacher’s aid at the Marion School for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and belonged to WELCA and Mary Circle. Eileen is survived by three daughters, Deb (Tim) Bubach, Litchville; Sharon (Mike) Brandvold, Kathryn, ND; Terri (Todd) Velure, Kathryn, ND; two sons, Rick (Keri) Sailer, LaMoure, ND; Todd (Donna) Sailer, Grand Forks, ND; eight grandchildren, Mandi Quigley, Cody Sailer, Cali Sailer, Trent Brandvold, Travis Brandvold, Casey Sailer, Tiffani Velure and Tierra Velure; two great grandchildren, Cayla Sailer and Cayden Quigley; three sisters, Elsie (Lawrence) Sailer, Fargo, ND; Dorothy (Lyle) Rodin, Marion; Doris Daniels, Bismarck, MN; and four brothers, LeRoy (Darlene) Alber, Marion; Larry (Deb) Alber, Marion; Dennis (Carla) Alber, Bismarck; Darryl Alber, Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and an infant sister.
