The video of Brian's Celebration of Life service is available at https://vimeo.com/552528991 Brian Dean Lemley “Big Bri”, 59, Sibley, ND passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in a trucking accident near Avon, MN. Brian was born in Bloomington, IN to Doris Headdy and Arden Lemley. They moved home to the family farm in Pillsbury, ND where Brian attended grade school and later graduated from Hope High School in 1980. He finished off his academics at NDSCS in Wahpeton, ND for automotive repair. “Big Bri” was a hard working man and spent his life farming, custom harvesting and most recently started over the road truck driving. One of Brian’s proudest moments was the day he gained two daughters he claimed as his own. Later he carried the name “Papa Bri” with pride. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends, shooting pool, shared the love of music with his dad and brother and may not have known, but he was a great singer. Brian’s smile, quick witt, and big hugs will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. Brian is survived by his father Arden (Joanne) Lemley of West Fargo, ND; step-father, Don Anderson, Hope, ND; his siblings, Eric Lemley, West Fargo, Julie (Jim) Ellingson, Hope, and Kristi Lemley (Greg Butler), Horace, ND; his children, Crystal (Luke) Flatt, Cooperstown, ND, Michele (Luke) Brown, Casselton, ND and Scott (Alysia) Rufsvold, Jamestown, ND; his grandchildren Jourdyn, Trek, Ruger Dean Flatt, and Xander Brown; nieces Paityn Lemley and Tasha Fassino; and his aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. Brian was preceded in death by his mother Doris Anderson and his grandparents. Visitation with viewing will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 18 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 19 at Hope American Legion, Hope, ND with a gathering time beginning at 10:00 am.
